A Simple Snapshot of Our Faith

At Kingwood First Baptist Church, our beliefs are rooted in the truth of Scripture and centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

CORE BELIEFS

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. It reveals God’s truth, His character, and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.

God & Salvation

We believe there is one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus provides forgiveness of sin and new life to all who trust in Him.

The Church

We are a community of baptized believers who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ. Together, we exist to glorify God, grow as disciples, and share the good news of Jesus with the world.

 

ORDINANCES

Baptism

Baptism is an act of obedience for every believer and is practiced by immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus, symbolizing His death, burial, and resurrection—and our new life in Him. Baptism does not save but is a testimony of salvation.The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of worship in which believers remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and look forward to His return.
