Easter at KFBC

For followers of Jesus Christ, the Easter season is the most important time of the year. At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus Christ’s entrance into the world, but at Easter, we recognize that without His death, burial and resurrection from the dead, our faith is meaningless.

We have created this page to help you and your family experience a full and meaningful Easter season with varied expressions of worship and celebration.

Gather at the Table

Thursday, April 2nd

On Thursday, April 2nd, at 7:00pm, join us at KFBC for a unique opportunity to observe the Lord’s Supper as a family or with a group. Childcare is available and programming for children through 5th grade.

Fast with us on Good Friday

After the Lord’s Supper service, we are challenging KFBC to fast, if medically possible, until after our Good Friday service on Friday night (April 3rd) and spend Friday in prayer and reflection. The EasterNow app has a timeline of significant events of Good Friday with Scripture to help focus times of prayer throughout the day. 

Gather at the Cross

Friday, April 3rd

Join us on Friday night, April 3rd, at 7:00pm, for a Good Friday service. We will reflect on the crucifixion of our Lord as He became the sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sin. The service is for the whole family. Childcare will not be provided.

Gather with the Community

Saturday, April 4th 

Eggstravaganza! Saturday morning, April 4th, at 11:00am, we will gather at Bear Branch Gazebo (across from Bear Branch Elementary) for a massive egg hunt for children up through 5th grade. Get there on time, because the hunt goes quick! Stay around for a chance to enjoy the park, great conversation and Chick—Fil—A lunch on us! There is no cost for Eggstravaganza.

Gather at the Empty Tomb

Easter Sunday, April 5th

Join KFBC for exciting worship services at 8:00am and 10:45am in our Worship Center. The services are identical, so pick the one that suits your schedule. Hear a powerful message by Dr. Rodney Woo and worship along with KFBC Choir, Orchestra and Band. If you’re not in one already, join one of our LifeGroups (Bible Study) at 9:30am as well!
