In calendar 2009, our church gave over $430,000 to Mission efforts here in our community and around the world.  This portion of our church budget only reflects part of the funds that our church gives to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The amounts listed above reflect our support of vital ministries in our community as well as ministries of people closely connected with our

church.  In areas where we have the most personal involvement with our church members, we have increased where we could. Funding for other areas that we have supported in the past, but now are not as involved, has been deferred until funds are available.  In addition, we will continue to support some of our mission efforts from designated funds already available and through funds designated for the Faith Ministry.  Faith Ministry giving allow our members to give all year long to various missions.  Our hope is that we will be able to give even more than we have in the past to engage with God in His mission of reaching the world.

 

SENIOR ADULT

Senior Adult activities include: day trips, dinner fellowships, game nights, chair aerobics class, quarterly breakfasts and the annual Christmas dinner. One of the highlights of the year is the Senior Adult retreat where our Seniors hear inspiring music and intensely study God’s word. Budget funds are also used in various ways for ministry to those in hospitals, nursing homes and for bereavement.
