Missions Ministry

missions ministryKFBC understands that as Christians we are called to live missional lives for Christ. Fulfilling the Lord’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 is essential for a healthy congregation. KFBC is committed to missions beginning in our own community to a global outreach. Volunteers are needed at all levels of ministry. From mentoring leadership to first-time volunteers, KFBC is committed to serve others in Christ’s name whether through meeting humanitarian needs, direct evangelism, prayer walking, Vacation Bible Schools, and work crews. KFBC currently works with projects in Colombia, Israel, Moldova, Romania, Mexico, and Spain. Contact John Burris in the Church office for more information.

Additionally, Kingwood First Baptist Church cooperates with the Union Baptist Association in Houston, The Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention with gifts to the Cooperative Program. Cooperative Program gifts fund ministries in Texas, the U.S. and in 185 countries worldwide.
